Hadimba Devi Temple

Hidimbi Devi Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manāli, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India.It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, sister of Hidimba, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himālayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshipped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553.

Manu Temple

Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. Thetemple is dedicated to the Indian sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. Though temple is situated in a congested place, visitors from across the globe come to visit it. The charming location of Manu Temple, on the bank side of river Beas, adds to its attraction. The temple was rebuilt in the year 1992, when the vaulted ceiling and marble floors were added.

Vashisht Temple

There is a Ashram dedicated to Maharishi Vashistha in Guwahati, India. This Ashram is situated close to Assam Meghalaya border to the south of Guwahati city and is a major tourist attraction of Guwahati.
Guru Vashishtha is also the primary deity at the Arattupuzha temple known as Arattupuzha Sree dharmasastha in Arattupuzha village in Thrissur district of Kerala. The famous Arattupuzha Pooram is an yearly celebration where Srirama comes from the Thriprayar SriRama temple to pay obeisance to his Guru at the Arattupuzha temple.


This temple is located in a small village located only 6 km south of Manali in the northern end of the Kullu Valley. Jagatsukh, which is well known for its old temples, houses a Shikhara style built Shive temple, also known as Jagatsukh Shiva Temple. This temple is surrounded by picturesque valleys and lofty snow-clad mountains that look even striking during the winters. Other than being a Hindu pilgrimage site, this place is a perfect honeymoon destination and a lot of tourists visit this spot to enjoy the wholesome beauty of the place.

Nagar Castle

"Located in Naggar Town, amidst breathtaking forested hills, the Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical edifice. Made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. It was built in AD 1460 in an impressive amalgamation of European and Himalayan architecture. Fireplaces, fitting staircases, and magnificent stone and wood works grace the castle's interiors. There are three small shrines within the premises, each holding immense religious importance. For art lovers, Naggar Castle has incredible art pieces on display. Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artefacts bearing imprints of Roerich's paintings from here.

Nicholas Roerich known also as Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh was a Russian painter, writer, archaeologist, theosophist, perceived by some in Russia as an enlightener, philosopher, and public figure, who in his youth was influenced by a movement in Russian society around the occult. He was interested in hypnosis and other spiritual practices and his paintings are said to have hypnotic expression.Trained as an artist and a lawyer, his main interests were literature, philosophy, archaeology, and especially art. Roerich was a dedicated activist for the cause of preserving art and architecture during times of war. He earned several nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize long list. The so-called Roerich Pact was signed into law by the United States and most nations of the Pan-American Union during April 1935.

Solang Valley

Solang Nala (Valley) drives its name from combination of words Solang (Nearby village) and Nullah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing.

Rohtang Pass

On the road to Keylong is the Nehru Kund (05Kms) which is clear water spring and scenic spot named after the Late Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Kothi (12Kms) is a picturesque village and has a thrilling view of the deepgorge through which the Beas Swiftly races. The Beautiful Rahalla Falls (16Kms) are at an altitude of 2500m. A crucial link on the old trade route and still the gateway to Trans- Himalayan Lahul, the Rohtang Pass is at a height of 3980m.

Club House

Located at a distance of 2 kms from Manali, the club house is an amusement zone. It has indoor game facilities and is situated on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. The structure of Club House finds resemblance from British style of architecture. It is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) and offers avenue for playing popular indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, karting and skating. Tourists can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some delicious snacks from their in-house restaurant. Adventure freaks can indulge in river crossing which can be done by ropeway.

The Manali- Based Mountaineering Institute organizes skiing, Rock climbing and Mountaineering Courses. Numerous treks and adventure trails lead out of Manali. Some are Manali to Leh, Manali to Bhrigu Lake, Manali to Chandratal and Manali to Spiti. There are Numerous places for Trout around Manali. Some are- Katrain, Raison, Kasol, Larji and Naggar.
